Borderlands

I have been playing Borderlands for about a week now and I have to say that the Multiplayer Online Co-Op is Fantastic. The game very closely resembles the game Fallout3 with it's mission structure and post-apocaliptic plot and landscape. The game play reminds me of the old Baldur's Gate games for the PS2 or the Diablo game's from the PC with all the randomly dropped loot and RPG like upgrade system but except instead of medival wepaons like swords you get to use modern weapons like assualt rifles and SMG's.

For anyone who enjoyed the Online Co-Op of Resistance2, you will find the Co-Op system in Borderlands to being far more superior what with the much more varied enemies to fight and graphics that are much more realistic and appealing and an enemy AI that will give you a run for your money. The best part about the game is the randomly dropped loot. I can't tell you how many times i told myself just 5 more minues just because i wanted to kill that next big enemy for an upgraded gun or just 1 more mission so i could get a few more dollars for that upgraded shield system or Sniper rifle. The Online Co-Op is fantastic and anyone who is a Fallout3 or Resistance2 or Diablo/Baldur's Gate fan should definetely check this game out and you'll find you will be as addicted to the online Co-Op as i am :D

"I have it for the PC. I haven't had a ton of time to do much with it, though it seems pretty nice from the first little bit I've played of it. Reminds me a lot of Fallout, probably because it was the first to get this whole "shooter RPG" thing down."
