According to TorrentFreak.com, since it's controversial release 2 months ago, packed with woes of lack of dedicated server support for the PC, and the sensitive "No Russian" level (which called for the games ban in Russia), Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 has been downloaded via torrents nearly 4.1 million times times, rivaling its 4.4 million copies sold. What does this mean for Activision? 245 million dollars in sales. Piracy also continued to ravage xbox 360 and wii sales this year, with "New Super Mario Brothers" being pirated 1.15 million times this holiday season.
Although piracy continues to be a problem for PCs and Consoles, thus far a method of faithfully duplicating PS3 games has yet to be found. Between this and Sony's recent crackdown on game sharing, many developers now look toward the PS3 as a platform with safe revenue.

What???"
