THE HANGAR BAY 1.0 HAS LAUNCHED.

So, what's new?

THE SITE IS ACTUALLY GOING TO BE UPDATED REGULARLY.

Why? Well quite simple. We've taken out the middleman. Any one of you (that are THB Clan members) can post a story right now. How? Simply go to one of the new magic forums that have popped up inside of Video Games, Movies, Music, and Tech Support. Then, make a thread. Title it appropriately, maybe give it some nice pictures (that are appropriately sized) using the normal [img] tags, put a youtube video in it, etc etc, and then post it. Then it's on the site. Right then, you're famous and on the front page. We'll still be updating the slideshow, but that's it. Roll with it. Site articles are tied directly to their forum counterparts, so if you need to edit something, just edit the thread on here, and it's pushed to the site. Just do me a favor for the first few days. Don't use size or color tags, and when you post a URL, use the method instead of the method. If you don't, Horrible horrible things will happen, like your link not working.

THERE'S A SECONDARY NAV BAR

Yup, it's smaller, and it houses all your forum buttons, and, with some tweaking, it will make navigation in other parts of the site easier. You'll notice it isn't in some sections. Why? Because it wasn't needed in some sections.

IT'S NOT PRETTY YET

Because Scrollie hasn't given it his golden touch yet, because I finished it this afternoon. Expect the aesthetics to increase significantly with time.

THE HANGAR BAY ENGINEERS: NOW ACCEPTING APPLICANTS
Within a few days, we'll be accepting new clans as well. All through the automated joining system now in place under "Join".

PERMISSIONS
These will be a work in progress over the next month or so, as we try to delicately set up the permissions system where everyone's happy. Private areas will be private again, but we also want to make sure everyone has all the permissions they need to be effective.

AND LAST BUT NOT LEAST
My favorite update. Go to the forum index, and click on a user's name at the bottom under "online users". Happiness abounds. PM's are so 2009.

Nice job on the site. I can't use the instant messenger while using my iTouch, there's no send button. After clicking "done" the text remains in the entry box.

Ah. Yeah that makes sense I suppose. I'll see what I can do about a manual send button.

As I was just saying to Scroll in INSTANT MESSAGE the new update is BAD ASS. The front page looks awesome, it was a huge surprise when I checked in this morning! Great job to our engineers this is seriously a triumph for the site! Amazing, absolutely amazing. The instant messages are awesome for sure my favourite update:)

not sure if its just me but when i go to the lounge it puts me at the bottom of the screen and wont let me scroll up.

Thanks for that. Noticed it just about the time you mentioned it, quick fix, and the lounge is back up now.

Site looks awsome, but I don't have a scroll bar on the main page or the lounge I havent checked anywhere else but that's about it.
